Former musician Lam Tungwar nominated for World Politician of the Year Award
Former musician turned politician, Lam Tungwar is trending not at his state but globally. He has been nominated for One Young World Politician of the Year Awards.
The award recognises five of the most promising young politicians between the ages of eighteen to thirty-five from around the world who have made an impact in their home countries and how they have used their position to benefit young people.
Lam currently the state’s Information minister at Northern Liech state is set to battle out the prize with 18 other participants from around the world.
Lam uses sports to unite and engage youth communities throughout the country. he has also created an initiative to increase youth enrolment in schools to combat youth unemployment and campaign for zero tolerance of illiteracy.
The nominees will be reviewed and judged by six internationally acclaimed leaders.
