Former deputy Defense Minister urges the government to establish football academy

Former South Sudan Deputy Minister of Defense, Dr. Majak de’Agoot Atem has requested the government to establish a football academy in the country to nurture talented young players.

Majak took to FB, after South Sudan U-12 football team victories performance in South Korea at an international U-12 football tournament.

“If this Under-12 Football/Soccer scoresheet speaks for truth; then South Sudan has a huge talent and potential — and its Government has to establish a Football Academy at once in order to produce world-class players.. President Kiir has to give them a heroic welcome upon return!”

South Sudan U-12 football team thrashed Japan, China, Thailand and Australia in their games.

The team coached by Felix Bilal, received a heroic welcome upon their return to Juba.
