South Sudan’s Majok Piok has been announced as a marquee signing by Fijian club Lautoka FC.

The towering 23-year-old striker makes the move from South West Queensland Thunder in Australia’s NPL, and joins Lautoka on a short-term deal to boost their attack for the upcoming Inter-District Championships in Fiji.

Majok had previously had a stint for Inter Leipzig in Germany’s Oberliga after a highly successful few year in NPL Queensland, where he established himself as one of the leagues’ top strikers.

Piok joined the South Sudan national team training camp in 2015, however, is yet to make his debut for the Bright Stars. Let’s hope to see him in the national team jersey soon.
