South Sudanese political leaders who have been in exile for years are expected to jet into Juba to take part in a nationwide peace celebration.

A reliable source in Juba has told HIJ that a number of former detainees, political leaders are expected to attend the peace celebration.

Among them, Lam Akol Ajawin, the leader of the opposition National Democratic Movement (NDM), Lam Akol, Gier Chuang, Majak Agot, Riek Machar, Pagan Amum among others are expected to attend the event after spending years in exile.

Last week, South Sudan’s government approved nearly 700 million Pounds for the celebration of the signed peace deal.
