Environment minister bans import of ‘fake flowers’
Mr. Deng Deng Hoc Yai, the national minister of environment recently issued a ministerial decree banning import of plastic flowers and and other plastic related products.
According the ministerial order the plastic flowers normally imported from East African countries are not biodegradable.
“We have banned the import of plastic flowers and other forms of plastic products to the country.” Deng said in the order.
The minister stressed that plastic flowers imported from the neighboring countries are dangerous to the environment hence the ban.
Juba ladies who have recently complained of their baes giving them fake flowers on Valentine’s Day instead of the fresh real sweet smelling flowers have happily welcomed the ministerial ban of “Fake Flowers”.
