Famed women rights activist Daniella Valentino Wol has donated 50,000 South Sudanese pounds and assortment of food items to Juba Orphanage Home. The UK-based social activist who was visiting Juba this month said the donations were made possible by her friends in UK. She explained that she had asked her few friends in UK to help donate items to bring to Juba.
She handed over the 50,000 SSP in cash and food items which included bags of maize flour, bags of rice, bags of beans, bags of sugar, tea bags, cooking oil, onions, washing soap and sweets to Angelo P. Samuel the manager of Juba Orphanage Home last week.
Daniella is known for her strong views against rebel leader Riek Machar and his supporters. She is a staunch supporter of President Salva Kiir.
