Sweet Life president Cool B, famous for his hit song ‘Mara Ta Zol’ has pulled out of South Sudanese Talent Youth Awards. A nonprofit nonpartisan and nonpolitical Entertainment Award set up by  South Sudanese students in Uganda to learn and create an entertaining environment for South Sudanese in Uganda.

Cool B posted on social media stating that he pulled out of the award because of personal feelings.

“To my beloved fans in Kampala and the world at large I would love to inform u that I am not participating in the SSTYA Awards 2017 I withdrew of it based on my personal feelings,” he posted.

The singer said that he will work again with the organiser of the award if the become musically mature in the future.

“I love and respect the small time we worked together and maybe we will work together again in future when u gain more musical maturity,” he added.

Cool B gave the organisers 24 hrs to pull down his names from the website award poll before saying he is the one who introduced South Sudanese music to Uganda.

“I introduced South Sudanese music in Uganda period,” Cool B said.

Cool B group Sweetlife Empire is nominated in the best group category.
