A convoy of 18 trucks carrying assorted food items has arrived at the Nimule customs point.

The consignment procured by Ramciel Company includes maize flour, cooking oil and beans.

Ramciel Multipurpose Company was contracted by the South Sudan government to import food for sale to consumers in Juba at subsidized prices.

The company consultant on food and nutrition security, Kuyu Dhel, says the trucks are finalizing clearance before heading to Juba on Friday.

Sale points will be at Jebel market, Gudele, Malakia, Gabat, Suk Sita, Hai Jalaba and Konyo Konyo market.
