The coach of national football team has resigned. Ahcene Ait Abdelmalek signed a two year contract in March but resigned yesterday.

Ahcene said he was resigning because of interference by SSFA. He accused unnamed officials of questioning his team selection and always trying to force him to select certain players.

The SSFA has appointed the assistant coach Ramsey Sabit to take charge as they start a search for new coach.
