Jonglei Church’s leaders have started an exercise which they believe will make Jonglei state ‘God’s state.’

The church members from Episcopal Church of Sudan has asked every youth in the state to give his Chelsea, Manchester or Arsenal jersey to be burn because they are satanic.

The church burned a number of cultural shrines in the state as well as clothes they consider evil.

These ‘evil clothes’ includes milayats, skinny jeans, mini-skirts and many other clothes the youth wear.

The move received wide criticism on social media.

”This evil foreign cult called Episcopal Church of South Sudan has gone mad again. It is repeating it’s evil deeds of the 1990s of burning traditional shrines under the pretext of fighting evil spirits in Bor. This is cultural vandalism. The Ministry of Culture should stop it,” netizen wrote on social media.
