Central Equatoria government through the state Ministry of Information and Broadcasting launched the long awaited TV station, Equator Broadcasting Cooperation(EBC) yesterday at EBC premises near Ecobank along Ministries Road. The launch was attended by dignataries, govt. official and businessmen. The entertainment was by comedian (who is a staff at EBC), Singer Grace among others.
Sources says that the project costed the CES govt between 4.7 million dollars and 3 years to complete due to some circumstances.
South Sudan currently has 3 TV stations; SSTV, CTV and EBC and numerous radio station.
