The battle for who finishes top of Group C at the ongoing DSTV Challenge Cup in Ethiopia will take centre stage today at Bahir Dar when South Sudan take on Malawi.
The Malawi Flames currently lead the log with maximum points after two games while The Bright Stars are second with two less after winning 2-0 against Djibouti on day onebefore holding rivals Sudan to a barren draw on day two.
Malawi will rely on the prowess of Chiukepo Msowoya for inspiration but must be at their best to break down a resilient South Sudan backline that is yet to concede a goal.
A draw will take Malawi to seven unassailable points at the summit while South Sudan must win to go top.
All sides are already assured of a slot in the last eight of Africa’s oldest national competition.
