The family of the leading national football team player Sabit Bruno has called on well-wishers to donate money to settle the Stars player’s hospital bills.
The family has criticised South Sudan’s embassy in Kenya and South Sudan Football Association for negligence and lack of support to the settle footballer’s hospital bills.
The striker who has been in Kenya for holiday was rushed to hospital on Sunday after he collapsed. A family source told HIJ that the player underwent a successful surgery after doctors said he had a brain tumour which had caused bleeding inside the brain. Since he got hospitalised the South Sudan Football Association only made a post on Facebook page asking fans to pray for the sick star.
Prayers for the star poured in on social media as fans share his photos since Monday. Sources say his situation has improved since the surgery on Sunday night. Bruno is the South Sudan’s national football team top-scorer. He plays for Kator FC in Juba
