One person has been killed and at least seven others injured in an attack on a passenger vehicle along the Juba-Bor road.
The vehicle was carrying 13 passengers when it was showered with bullets this morning. The wounded include five women and two children.
Three passengers are missing. Achol Majak Anyang survived with three gunshot wounds. She explains what happened.
“One of the attackers open fire in front of us. When the driver turns the vehicle, they open random fire on the vehicle,” she said adding that ” We rushed and got down through driver’s door. In the process, they injured seven of us. I sustain three gunshot wounds. They put on green military uniform. A vehicle travelling behind us came to our rescue.”
