South African government has assured the government of South Sudan that Riek Machar isn’t going back anytime soon to South Sudan anytime soon.

South African Parliament’s speaker Hon. Baleke Mbete while speaking to Minister of Petroleum, Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth assured Mr Lol that South African Government has put up every possible measure to make sure Riek Machar doesn’t go back to South Sudan to cause chaos and havoc.

“My Government is put everything in place and Riek Machar will never leave South Africa to South Sudan to cause any other conflict,” She added.

Mr Lol was in South Africa to woo oil industry moguls to invest in the vast country’s oil reserves and to pass greeting from the government of South Sudan.

Exiled rebel leader Riek Machar has been under house arrest in South Africa since last year to stop him stirring up trouble.
