Gola Boyoi wins election to become national youth Union president
Gola Boyoi has won national youth union to become to new chairman of South Sudan National Youth Union.
He won the election with 136 votes out 179.
In the hotly-contested elections, over 180 delegates drawn from the states and the diaspora, voted in a secret ballot to choose from seven candidates including one female.
Surprisingly, five candidates withdrew their candidacy in front of the public at the election venue.
According to reports, its alleged that one of the candidate Deng Gai Gatluak for National Youth Union Presidential election went missing few hours before the election date.
