South Sudanese faces life imprisonment for running a brothel in Khartoum

A south Sudanese risk facing life in prison after he was busted operating a brothel in a rented apartment in Bari, Khartoum.

The court of public in Bahri,Khartoum is considering sentencing the man to up to 400 years behind bars.

He faces charges of running a house for prostitution and defamatory performances.

The police was following information received by the community security police.

According to Al-Dar newspaper, the brothel was rented by a South Sudanese from Wau with two other men who were also arrested.

They faces prosecution filed under the provisions of Articles 153/155 of the Criminal Code.
