Recently all political parties in South Sudan were required to register to be eligible to compete in forthcoming 2018 elections and out of the 26 political parties in the country only 9 succeeded in registering with Political Parties Council.

Politician cum musician Hot Dogg’s party People Liberal Party (PLP) is among the parties that have registered and became eligible to compete in 2018 elections.
Some of the requirements for a party to register was a registration fee of 20K SSP and a 500+ members signature all which couldn’t stop PLP from eyeing 2018 election.
