The newly crowned miss world South Sudan, Arual Longar has separately met both President Salva Kiir Mayardit and former army chief of staff Paul Malong over the weekned.

According to a source, the beauty queen has appealed to the president to release Paul Malong who is currently restricted from leaving Juba.

“Arual had a brief meeting with the president at the State House where she requested the president to release Paul Malong from house arrest in Juba, among other things,” the source said.

Arual also visited Paul Malong at his residence to pass her condolence message to the bereaved former army chief who recently lost his daughter in a dorm fire in a school in Nairobi, Kenya.
