Juba Arabic newspaper launched in Juba

A new newspaper has been launched in Juba, South Sudan to serves the Juba-Arabic speaking citizens in the capital.

The Newspaper, ‘Salaam Junub Sudan’ first edition was launched on 1st August 2018 and it will be the first Juba-Arabic pidgin newspaper in the country.

Juba-Arabic is an Arabic pidgin widely-spoken across Equatoria region of South Sudan, even though it is not officially recognized,  it’s the most spoken form of Arabic in Juba.

Bakosoro, al asa yau kaid ta Haraka al Wataniya ta Junub Sudan le Tegeyir (South Sudan National Movement for Change), wahid min mujmu ta ahzab al muaridin le hakuma ta Junub Sudan al ma mada tifagiya ta salam ta Kartum al madau ma hakuma ta Junub Sudan wu hizib muarid tou al reisi, SPLA/M IO de, kelim gali umon ma mada tifagiya ta Kartum ta Salam de, ashan tifagiya de ma degesu irik ta mashakil ta Junub Sudan de, wu kaman ashan umon ma der mada tifagiya taban al gi kasuru besit ze gilas.
